We are currently looking for a qualified individual with 3-5 years of experience to fill Technical Support position in Brooklyn office consisting of 60 Windows XP Desktop, some laptop and handheld Blackberries.

Responsibilities:
Receive and respond to all incoming calls, emails, and request regarding desktop problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, diagnosing and repairing workstations.
Provide support to end-users for common office software applications.
Install/setup/rebuild workstations + laptops, apply OS patches etc.
Maintain Symantec BackupExec.
Keep the inventory updated in TrackIt database.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of MS windows XP, 2000.
Familiarity in MS-Office 2003, 2007.
Familiarity with troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol, DNS, WINS, and DHCP.
Basic knowledge in Exchange Server 2003/2007
Knowledge of applications such as FTP clients, anti-virus, anti-spyware, and diagnostic tools.
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
Ability to work independently.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Location: Brooklyn
Compensation: salary range 39-48K yearly with benefits.
